William Terry letter, 1845 February 11.

The collection consists of a letter, dated February 11, 1845, from William Terry to Lemuel Pratt Grant, resident engineer of the Georgia Railroad at Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia. Terry, lumber contractor for the railroad, asks for an extension of time to complete his contract for lumber for the depot at Decatur and inquires as to whether other lumber is needed "either at Decatur of at the terminus [Atlanta]." Terry in his letter mentions Mr. Thompson, Mr. Bird, and Messrs. Williard and Williams.
